JOB DESCRIPTION JOB DESCRIPTION Job Details Home child care provider – Private Home NOC - 44100   A Home Child Care Provider (Private Home / Employer’s Home) is needed for 2 children (8 year old and 10 year old) to commence employment from July 3, 2023 or as soon as possible after that date.   Close to Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street West, Brampton, Ontario (L6X 2Z6) $18.00 per hour Permanent Full-Time Position Minimum weekly hours 32.5 per week   32.5 hours to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 7 am to 9:30 am =       2.5 hours 2:30 pm to 7 pm =      4.5 hours Total Hours:                7.0 hours with 0.5 (30 minutes) unpaid break Paid Hours:                 6.5 x 5 days = 32.5 hours per week Subject to increase in hours and salary to be adjusted accordingly on the basis of $18.00 per hour   Salary per year from $30,420.00 to $35,100.00   Paid statutory holidays 4% vacation pay   Health insurance A private health insurance that covers emergency medical care (sudden illness/sickness and accident injuries), will be provided to the successful candidate, for any period during which the successful candidate is not covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). Tasks and Duties The successful candidate will assist in supervising and care for children in employer's home/residence, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties relating to children, oversee children's activities, maintain a safe environment in the home, instruct and assist children in personal hygiene, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, tend to emotional well-being of children, support social development of children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, to take children to and from school, park. Employment requirements Completion of secondary school is required. English Language. Experience is not required, as long as, the candidate/applicant is able to demonstrate that he/she has worked with children having similar kind of tasks and duties by virtue of being a parent of his/her own child or children. Completion of Caregiver / Home Child Care Provider training program will be an asset, however, is not required for this position. Demonstrated ability to perform work (tasks and duties) is required. Clear criminal record.
