The successful candidate must have experience working on oil field sites and must be local to Fort McMurray Alberta. A relocation package will be provided for this role.
Job Summary
The Tower Foreman is responsible for building and maintaining communication towers, the safe installation of steel structures and wireless communication components, performing general ground procedures associated with installation, concrete foundations, plum & tension, crane direction, working with various antenna and transmission lines, identifying and selecting appropriate equipment for specific installations as well as climbing and working on poles, towers, lifts, and ladders or other support structures up to 500 feet.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years in lead hand or foreman role

Experience with Steel work
Experience in Crane direction and Zoom Booms

What you’ll do:
You will fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse to select items from floor stock to assemble on pallets to be transported to local Co-ops, with set productivity standards.
Assist in handling incoming merchandise and housekeeping.
You will be completing very physically demanding/laborious work including repetitive lifting of weight of up to 50lbs.
You may be working in a fast-paced environment in various climates (i.e. Freezer, Outdoors).
Other duties as assigned. This is an entry level position offering $16/hr. We are looking for individuals that are available for up to full-time hours. Sundays are required. The first 2 weeks on the job are training full-time Monday-Friday during business hours.

Salary: $15.00 per hour, for 40 hours/week

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Sitting

Specific Skills:
Use sewing guides and tension devices;
Operate sewing machines or sew by hand;
Operate machines to join sections of fabrics or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
