$22-$25/hour depending on experience
2 weeks vacation
This position entails delivering feed out of the Tavistock location but there may be times when you may need to be trucking out of our other locations. This is position will include delivering bulk and bags.
Job Duties:
To load and unload truck, completing required paperwork and submitting documentation after each shift;
Deliver bagged feed when necessary (may include delivering bags with bulk feed);
To deliver feed in a safe and efficient manner;
Consistently portray professionalism and provide a high standard of customer service;
Adhere to company procedures and safety policies;
Help maintain a clean truck, both inside and outside, pre-trip inspections, end-of-shift inspection of cab, and weekly trailer inspection/sweeping out;
To cooperate with mill workers and help in the mill and warehouse when required;

This position entails delivering feed out of the Tavistock location but there may be times when you may need to be trucking out of our other locations. This is position will include delivering bulk and bags.
Job Duties:
To load and unload truck, completing required paperwork and submitting documentation after each shift;
Deliver bagged feed when necessary (may include delivering bags with bulk feed);

Consistently portray professionalism and provide a high standard of customer service;
Adhere to company procedures and safety policies;

To cooperate with mill workers and help in the mill and warehouse when required;
When necessary, help deliver feed at our other locations;
Prepare paperwork for data tracking;
Operate and drive primarily tanker and/or straight-body trucks weighing over 4500kg to transport goods and materials on local route;
Perform pre-trip, enroute and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes;
Ensure load is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting goods;
Record load information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption;
Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain log books;
Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers, sales representative and customers;
May perform basic emergency roadside repairs.

Preferred mechanical aptitude (able to diagnose problems quickly and take appropriate action).

As a member of a team of meat processing technicians, a highly motivated individual with previous training in meat processing and experience working in a food production facility is sought. Requirements of this position:
Help, co-ordinate and supervise general farm worker’s day to day activities;
Assess, suggest and help in the implementation of work procedures which are beneficial for the business;
Ensure all health and safety procedures including farm safety, food safety and security procedures are being followed by all workers at all times;
Supervise, monitor and enforce procedures to maintain crop health and welfare
Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations such as vegetable propagation - seeding, germination, growing and shipping;
Direct, assign or assist with the adjustment or repair of farm equipment or machinery.
Experience on farm with tractor driving, heavy equipment (pay loaders, loader back hoes) an asset
Manage a minimum of 14 plus employees and develop work schedules and establish procedures and ensure all necessary tasks completed;
Plans and supervises the planting, cultivating, harvesting and storing of field on large and complex farm;
Maintain quality control and production records;
May perform general farm duties.

What will you need?
At least 12 months experience working in supervisory capacity in an agricultural setting
Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks;
Handling heavy loads up to 50 pounds;
Physically demanding;
Hand-eye co-ordination;

familiarity with SAWP program, requirements and rules preferred;
forklift certification preferred;
