The vision that is “L3J Immigration Consulting, Inc.” was borne out of a burning passion. It was in the year 2000 that the realization to help new immigrants settle well dawned on both Lisa De Leon and Joel De Leon. It was also an opportunity for them to pass on the goodwill they received when they were new in Canada.
From 2002 – 2006 while in Toronto. Lisa, being a Registered Social Worker in Canada, started providing settlement services to new immigrant families who have children with special needs. The settlement services include finding homes, employment, family support to assist in caring for the children with special needs, orientating on behavioral and cultural adjustments, and finding support communities and organizations.
In 2007, Lisa moved to Calgary where, until 2009, she continued providing settlement services to families who have children with special needs. Serving these families brought about an even bigger issue, the lack of caregivers to provide for these families.
In 2009 to 2010, Lisa De Leon enrolled and completed the Immigration Practitioner Program at Bow Valley College. In the same period, she partnered and worked as an agent for an immigration consultant. Her main responsibility is to recruit workers at the same time provide staffs to employers in need of staff.
This partnership developed her expertise in handling LMIAs, AEOs, Work Permits and job placements. In the same year, L3J Immigration Consulting, Inc. was established. It was initially recognized as an employment agency.
In 2011, she received her license as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. Today, L3J Immigration Consulting, Inc., is recognized and licensed as an immigration consulting firm. The vision that became a mission is now a realization. Its portfolio of clients, employers and foreign workers and those who sought immigration assistance is continuously growing. L3J Immigration Consulting, Inc.’s staffs also embody the very same passion and commitment that Joel and Lisa De Leon started with. The client’s full satisfaction is always paramount to L3J Immigration Consulting, Inc. services.
