The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and administrative office as well as maintaining the grounds, lawns, and planters.
Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:
Respond to all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper in all weather conditions.
Complete work order requests in an efficient manner.
Maintain all work areas in an orderly and clean condition.
Inspect public areas daily for any issues.
Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas, and administrative offices.
Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door, and window repairs.
Prerequisites:
The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of all hotel issues, how they can be prevented and how to repair them. They must be able to lift 50lbs and push up to 100lbs. Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Education:
Must have minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with tickets or other certificates.
Experience:
Must have a minimum 1 year of hotel maintenance experience.
