What Will You Do As A Video Content Editor?

Video content editor isn’t a typical job description. So to help you understand what you’ll be doing on a typical workday, let’s start by reviewing our video production process.

• Course producers work with the expert to prepare for recording

• The course content is recorded by our world-class camera operators

• Video content editor pre-edits the recorded content into coherent lessons

• Our all-star video editing team takes over to create truly breathtaking videos

• Our pedantic video reviewers suggest improvements and ask for revisions

As a video content editor, you’ll be reviewing the recorded material to decide what goes in the videos, what stays out, and how to structure the lessons in the best way possible.

It’s similar to what a book editor would do to an unpolished manuscript, except with video.

While we require editorial experience, you don’t need prior experience in video editing.

Here’s What We Expect From You

• You have relevant editorial experience (e.g. writer, editor, producer, etc.)

• You understand how to structure content clearly

• You understand what makes content engaging or boring

• You have at least an intermediate understanding of photography

• You can tell the difference between a good and a great photo

This is a 100% remote full-time position. Due to time zone differences, we won’t be able to hire applicants residing in Australia or the eastern parts of Asia.

Please note that our hiring process includes a paid trial period if you advance to the next stage.
