Steven Le Notary Corporation in Vancouver, BC, is hiring a full-time and permanent Legal Secretary (Part-time is also welcome).
We offer: C$24.75/hr (36-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation

Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School.
- Completion of a one-two year of secretary program or legal secretaries or minimum 1 year of previous experience of working in related field.
Job Duties:
- Proofread and review documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
- Prepare and review Wills, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements, Health Directives, and affidavits.
- Schedule appointments, meetings (online or in-person), and conferences.
- Set up and maintain filing systems utilizing knowledge of legal procedures.
- Keep good records of confidential documents and information.
- Communicate with other departments or organizations via emails, mails, and fax.
- Able to perform any other office work as required.
- Trust accounting reconciliation (use of pro-suite software and training provided).
- Take notes during meetings (online or in-person) or on the phone. Keep all notes in the file for record.
- Able to supervise and train other staff in the use of current software.
