Plumbers

Milani Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd., located at 5526 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 2G2, urgently requires 5 Plumbers to start asap.

Wage: $26.50. to $30.00/hr (depending on exp.)

Start date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time (min. 30 to 40 hrs/week), Permanent

Work locations: Various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and as per company’s contracts

Job Duties:

• Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems; • Measure, cut and thread pipes using machines;
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or and welding equipment; • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges;
• Read blueprints to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems;
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections. and
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.

Job Requirements:

• Min. secondary school education is required.
• Min. 3-4 yrs of relevant experience.
• Must be functional in English.

Skills Requirements: • Ability to work long hours, weekends and / or early mornings are required. • Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions • Heavy lifting may required at times.
