Air Conditioning and Heating Mechanics

Milani Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd., located at 5526 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 2G2, requires 7 Air Conditioning and Heating Mechanics

Wage: $32.00. to $ 35.00/hr (depending on exp.)

Start date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time (min. 30 to 40 hrs/week), Permanent

Work locations: Various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and as per company’s contracts

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints, drawing, specification and layout location point for installation.
• Install and overhaul entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Cut, measure, assemble, install air conditioning and heating components such as compressors, motors, controls, circulating pipes, condensers using hand and power tools.
• Connect piping by using welding and brazing equipment.
• Start the system and check leaks using testing devices.
• Repair or Replace damage parts of air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump system.
• May Prepare work estimate for client,
• Make report for management etc.

Job Requirements:

• Min. secondary school education is required.
• Min. 3-4 yrs of relevant experience.
• Must be functional in English.

Skills Requirements: • Ability to work long hours, weekends and / or early mornings are required. • Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions • Heavy lifting may required at times.
