Details of the Position:
- Full time, Permanent Position
- 40 hours a week at $20/hr
- 10 Days of Vacation
Job Description:
- Oversee and co-ordinate activities of sales staff and cashiers;
- Create, manage and disseminate timely work schedules;
- Hire and train staff and/or arrange for staff training;
- Delegate and manage tasks of staff;
- Provide active dispute resolution, by being able to address concerns of staff, customers and supply demands and issues as they arise;
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, inventory and personnel matters
- Assists with maintaining inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise and make orders for inventory;
- Manages financial transactions, such as authorizing payments and the sales and returns of merchandise;
- Actively work with staff on their daily duties such as, stocking shelves and other duties as they arise
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge and helping them select products.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards;
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the marketplace.
What you will need?
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary (high) school education, preferred
- Previous sales experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
- English – working proficiency
