- Title of the position: Operations Coordinator (NOC 14405).
- Morning Dispatch:
- Assign job packages to teams.
- Ensure uniform compliance before teams leave for job sites.
- Communicate ETAs to customers after teams have been dispatched.
- Perform spot checks and move in-progress calls to assist employees with any challenges.
- Monitor electronic logging system (Samsara) to ensure drivers are logged in and are compliant.
- Evening Debrief:
- Receive equipment from team upon returning to the office.
- Have drivers fill out truck report forms and provide feedback.
- Inspect all returned items to ensure everything is damage free and accounted for.
- Inspect trucks (both cab and box).
- Clean trucks (both cab and box to ensure truck is ready for the next day).
- If any mechanical issues were reported by drivers, log them on Samsara and report them to the fleet manager immediately.
- Write an End Of Day report and submit it to the General Manager before the end of the shift.
- Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Required work experience:
- Several years of work experience in the transportation sector is required.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Work experience as a truck scheduler/dispatcher is preferred.
- Work experience as a supervisor is preferred.
