Job Description

Terms of employment: Full time; Permanent; 40 hours per week (morning, day, evening, and weekends).
Wage: $28.00/hour
Job Duties:
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.
- Measure, cut, shape lumber, wood, and other building materials.
- Erect temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.
- Examine building materials to identify any defects.
- Cleanup job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subfloor, and roof systems.
- Ensure the structure is built according to code and regulations.
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Location of work: Various locations throughout Alberta.
