Child Caregiver

Child caregiver needed full-time in Victoria, BC.   This is a full-time position Monday – Friday and consists of shift work (approximate daily shifts are 7am – 9am and 3pm to 8pm); all work will be performed inside the employer’s private home.  Previous experience working with autistic child is required. Child requiring care is 14 years old.

On site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Help children with homework

Experience and specialization: Experience with special needs children ( Autistic child)
