Ondrejicka Elevators Limited is a privately-owned grain elevator and Soybean processing facility located in the Municipality of South Huron.  We are seeking 4 grain-processing machine operators in our soybean processing facility.

We are currently seeking to hire 4 grain-processing machine operators

Benefit: 2 weeks annual vacation

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location:  39552 Kirkton Road, RR#1, Exeter, Ontario, N0M 1S4

Details of this position:

• Permanent, Full time
• 35 hours a week Minimum, with optional over-time
• $25.00/hour

Requirements of this position:

• Operate Soybean Work on a production line, packaging meat products as directed by Lead Hand
• Prepare and regulate food processing and packaging machine;

• Assembly of equipment (conveyor chains/cups on elevator belts etc.): this is routine-type repetitive assembly under supervision

• Cleaning containers free of all debris from previous shipping use;
• Inspecting and documenting container condition with photos and completed paperwork;
• Checking documents to verify what product is to be loaded in the container;
• Installing proper lining material for the type of material being loading;
• Loading Bulk soybeans or packaged soybeans with forklift or belt loader with care;

• Close loaded container and shunt container to parking yard for shipping;
• Operate single-function machines to grind, extract, and clean Soybeans products;
• Packaging Soybeans in Bags or Totes for shipping;
• Operate and monitor packaging equipment operation;
• Visually inspect totes and bags for quality assurance during packaging;
• Hang/place packaging material to load machine and keep machine operating efficiently;
• Move packaged material on pallets to storage area and bring empty pallets to machine to be filled;
• Bringing any equipment or quality issues to the attention of the supervisor
• Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, date and type of products packaged
• Perform corrective machine adjustments, clean machines and immediate work areas;
• Tidying packaging materials and bagged product stored in warehouse;
• Routine cleanup of dust and soybean buildup inside bean plant warehouse and Soybean cleaning & Processing area;

What will you need?

• experience with power lift truck an asset; Forklift operator training provided
• Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks;
• Handling heavy loads up to 50lbs;
• Physically demanding;
• Hand-eye co-ordination;
• Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling
