Job Duties:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the chemical processing line, including anodizing, passivation, chemical conversion coating, priming, and painting, ensuring adherence to aerospace quality standards.
Set and monitor production schedules using an advanced ERP system to maintain workflow efficiency and meet tight delivery deadlines.
Provide hands-on support resolving day-to-day challenges and identifying areas for process improvement.
Ensure full compliance with internal procedures and external certifications, including AS9100D, Nadcap, and Canadian Controlled Goods regulations.
Monitor chemical tanks and lab data to assess process stability; analyze trends and approve recommendations for chemical adjustments by lab technician.
Train and mentor team members on safe operating procedures, equipment use, and company standards, promoting a strong safety and quality culture.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Shipping teams to ensure product integrity and on-time delivery.
Track chemical and material inventory; coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely replenishment of required supplies.
Operate in a fully paperless environment using digital tools and systems for production tracking, documentation, and performance monitoring.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a chemical processing or surface treatment environment, ideally involving aerospace components.
Must have supervisor experience;
Bachelor Degree
