Qualifications Required: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or  Industrial Design . 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or fabrication, preferably within a custom design/build, lighting, or architectural product environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks , AutoCAD, Rhinoceros , Adobe Photoshop or equivalent 3D CAD software. Ability to read and produce engineering drawings and schematics to manufacturing standards. Preferred: Experience designing kinetic or illuminated structures , interactive installations , or architectural features . Familiarity with lighting systems, wiring layouts , or electrical integration . Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles , and experience working with external fabricators.
