Nail Care Technician

Andola Nail Spa located in Village Green Mall, Duncan, BC.  We provide full pedicure and manicure services and other beauty services for all of you ladies to come and share a wonderful experience with us. To improve the quality of our services and assist with our growing business, we are looking for two (2) Permanent Full-time Nail Care Technicians.

We offer:

C$15.50/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation. Plus gratuity.

Work location: Village Green Mall, 180 Central Rd unit 12, Duncan, BC V9L 4X3

Language of work:  English

Number of positions: 2

Employment requirements:

• Completion of High School diploma.
• Certificate from beauty school programs (such as manicure and pedicure) is an asset.
• Experienced with Manicures, Pedicures, Shellac/Gel Polish Application, Gel extensions, Nail art techniques is an asset.
• Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Training is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Discuss and help customers choose suitable nail treatments and services.
• Sterilize equipment before use
• Care and removal previously applied nail polish; acrylic nails, gel nails, porcelain nails and nail extensions.
• Clean, shape fingernails and toenails.
• Polish nails, using powdered polish and buffer.
• Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
• Clean and sanitize tools and work environment.
• Follow Covid-19 protocol closely
• Maintain good hygiene.
