Job Description


We are looking to fill a Permanent FT (30-40 hours/week) In home caregiver/babysitter to care for our 18 month old son.    Rate of pay is $18.50/hour and hours of work will vary depending on the employers schedule.   Any hours work in excess of 40 hours per week will be at 1.5 times the regular rate in accordance with the Saskatchewan Labor  Standards.  The caregiver shall be entitled to a 15 days of paid vacation annually.  

Duties and responsibilities includes: 

Change diapers
Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Prepare infants and children for rest periods
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well-being of child

Candidate must provide verifiable references.  May be required to work some occasional overtime.  Must have at least 1 year experience or related training.
