Title: General Construction Worker   Location: Kitchener, Ontario   Moser Landscape Group Inc. is a full-service landscape construction, maintenance, and snow removal company serving t he needs of Southwestern Ontario and the Waterloo Region since 1983. With our wide variety of equipment, we have the flexibility to work on day-to-day projects as well as handling unique and specialized situations.   We are currently looking for two full-time general construction workers with the ability to work at a variety of duties to join our commercial landscape/construction team. This is a full-time year-round position.   Job Duties: Load/ unload and carry materials at construction sites; Prepare construction site by digging, moving dirty, or compacting space, as needed; Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, garbage and other obstructions; Use equipment to break old forms and structures; Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt; Concrete, asphalt and limestone trail installations, barriers, and play structure installations; Assist tradespersons, such as carpenters, electricians, etc. in construction projects, as needed; Assist in demolishing existing structures, sort, clean and organize saved materials; Level earth using rake and shovel; Assist in construction of variety of retaining walls, such as precast walls, armour stone walls, gabion walls, green living walls, etc. by mixing mortar, lay bricks and stones and/or concrete sidewalks; Build variety of fence types and styles, such as stilt fences, chain link, decorative iron, farm fencing, custom fencing, etc.; Assist with planting for a variety of landscape projects from streetscapes to commercial buildings and complexes; Assist with lawn area grading via digging, trenching and excavating Superior strengths including lifting, climbing, bending, digging Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily task Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Perform any other construction activities, as directed   Job Requirements Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of construction experience Ability to work in all weather conditions Productively works with others as a team member as well as independently Demonstrate safe work habits and apply safe practices Strong work ethic and attention to detail   Work Benefits Appreciation Activities   Work Location 1254 Union Street, Kitchener, ON, N2H 6K4   Salary $30.00 per hour (40-hour work week)   Application To apply send your resume to our e-mail address: hr@moserlandscapegroup.ca   Thank you for your application, we will contact those individuals who closely meet the job requirements for an interview.
